Not every box, not every container automatically has a roof and four walls. There are containers, such as the open top container without a roof, or the platform container, which consists of only one platform and doesn’t have walls or a roof, just the floor construction. The floor is made of solid wood and a steel skeleton, which makes it very sturdy and stable. The platform container is primarily used for oversize and lengthy cargo (heavy and bulky) such as larger machines and bulky components.
